SPLIT

I read today about a boy named jace. He left his parents house to go and find his brother to live with him because his dad has been abusing him. He arrives at his brothers house, christian, with a busted up face and $3.84 in his pocket

"Or maybe ill be overwhelmed by the sweet smell of pot, and his hair will be sticking  up wildly, and he'll mug me for the $3.84 i have left."


This stuck out to me because i learned something new about the main character. And its just kind of sad to think that someone would abuse their kid.
